DESCRIPTION: |
Set on a site of specific scientific interest, this rally is usually a lovely and quiet one!This year we would like to welcome you to two events:On Saturday our Chairman wants to celebrate being out with you all after last year’s event and raise money for our nominated charity Ickle Pickles. On Sunday 25th – St James’ Day - the Horn Fair, which is a century’s old tradition, is due to be held at Ebernoe. This is where Ebernoe Village battle it out against another local village in their annual cricket match. There is also a Lamb roast, funfair, beer and refreshment tents, and a pavilion selling tea, coffee and refreshments. After match there are children’s sports and other entertainment taking place. Take A283 on the North side of Petworth. Turn right signposted Balls Cross/Kirdford. At Balls Cross turn left at Stags Inn Public House. Site on left after you cross the ford. Watch out for and follow the green EH centre signs. |
